Capital Asset Services is looking to connect with experienced operations / planning professionals with robust Excel-based planning and data analysis capability, ideally from mining, bulk materials handling, or heavy industrial environments.

n

This is a hands‐on planning role, suited to someone who understands how plans interact with operations on the ground.

n

Key Responsibilities and Experience

n

n
- Using Excel as a primary planning tool (pivot tables, analysis, Gantt-style schedules)
n
- Turning raw operational data into practical short‐term and medium‐term plans
n
- Analyzing production, quality, and throughput metrics and explaining impacts to stakeholders
n
- Experience with bulk solids and liquids movement, including:n n
- Pumped systems, transfer lines, and flow constraints
n
- Dewatering,



raw water, process water, or brine‐type systems
n
- Understanding how flow rates, capacities, and downtime affect production outcomes
n

n
- Familiarity with interfaces between operations, maintenance, and contractors
n
- Adapting plans around shutdowns, weather, manning, equipment availability, and competing priorities
n
- Ability to discuss issues constructively with haulage, operations, port or export interfaces
n

n

Experience with VBA / Excel macros or automated reporting tools is highly regarded.
