Medical Receptionist Position Auchenflower Full-time (9 day fortnight)

Our client is a well-established service provider to medical specialists who have been providing anaesthetic and perioperative medicine services at the Wesley Hospital campus. This group of medical specialists have successfully built a reputation among surgeons and patients for providing safe, reliable, compassionate and quality healthcare.

We are seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for this practice.

n

This role is front of house and involves meeting clinic visitors and diverting calls within the practice as required. Hours are generally 8am-5pm. 9 day fortnight is also offered. We are seeking an efficient call handler for this significant front of house role. Candidates who are interested in moving into a Specialist role and enjoy receptionist duties are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided on the job to ensure your ongoing success in this practice.

In addition to the key duties and responsibilities, the candidate must be able to demonstrate:

- At least 12 month's prior experience working within the healthcare industry, any prior experience working within a clinical, specialist practice or hospital-based setting will be viewed favourably
n
- An exemplary telephone manner and a compassionate demeanour
n
- A strong desire to provide a high level of service to the patients and specialists
n
- Proactive with strong time management and organisational skills along with the ability to prioritise your workload (this role involves co-ordinating the rosters of our clinicians)
n
- Competency in Microsoft 365, previous experience with MediTrust software or similar highly regarded
n
- A positive 'can do' attitude with the ability to contribute to a team
n

Remuneration:

n

Salary will be in the range of $ 35-38 per hour plus 12% Superannuation. Staff parking is available at a subsidised rate. Public transport and other amenities in Auchenflower are located nearby.
