Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD) at our Fitzroy campus. This is a permanent full‐time role focused on maintaining the highest standards of sterilisation for reusable medical devices, directly contributing to patient safety and healthcare efficiency.

Responsibilities

n

You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager – CSSD and the team to:

n

n
- Ensure the re‐use, high‐level disinfection, packing and sterilisation of reusable medical devices (RMDs) meet all safety and quality standards.
n
- Oversee and manage the processes for loaned equipment and sterile store supplies.
n
- Lead, manage and collaborate with the CSSD nursing and support staff.
n
- Embed the philosophy and values of St Vincent's Private Melbourne into all aspects of service delivery.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Extensive experience in CSSD with comprehensive medical instrument knowledge.
n
- Knowledge of high‐level disinfection, packing and sterilisation of RMDs.
n




- Knowledge of loaned equipment and sterile store processes.
n
- Robust leadership, management and team‐working skills.
n
- Certificate in Sterilisation Services (desirable).
n
