Role Overview

n

Provide companionship and social support to Vi, a senior resident with a 4‐wheel walker. Visit her for up to an hour per week or fortnight, chat about her life in Birmingham, help with gardening, and assist with jigsaw puzzles. This is a volunteer position within the Seniors & aged care sector.

Commitment

Regular – more than 6 months.

Training and Support

Riverview Community Services (RCS) will partner with you to provide volunteer visitor training, workshops, and ongoing support.

Eligibility

n

The volunteer must be able to travel to Redcliffe, comfortable engaging with a senior individual, and committed to the regular schedule.
