As the Project Manager within the Defence & Security team, you will apply your experience and skills to plan, execute and deliver diverse and innovative projects supporting Australian customers. You will lead collaboration activities with multiple stakeholders to facilitate and deliver outcomes across projects. This will include but is not limited to, acquisition and engineering change proposals across a diverse technology stack within the air and maritime domains.
Key responsibilities
- Autonomously manage the execution of one or multiple projects, from start to finish
- Manage the financial and operational resources necessary to meet contractual obligations of the project to ensure profitability
- Develop and execute the project management plan for projects
- Day-to-day collaboration with matrix team members
- Where applicable, participate in proposal writing for project management aspects
About you
- PMP Certification
- Expertise in analysing information,
designing and developing current approaches, methodologies and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven learning capability
- Ability to work in a Hybrid model (3 days in the office/site, 2 days of flexibility), working from the Homebush Office or Brisbane Office
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian Citizen
- Background in the defence industry is desirable
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, namely, Microsoft Projects
