Job Title: Project Manager/ Estimator

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join our expanding team.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in both estimating and project delivery across a diverse range of engineering and fabrication projects.

Working closely with our Business Development Manager, Senior Project Manager, workshop and clients, you will be involved from the initial enquiry stage through estimating, procurement, manufacturing, site coordination and final project completion.

This position is ideal for someone with 2–3 years' experience who is looking to further develop their career within a growing Australian engineering company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage customer enquiries from initial enquiry through to project handover.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for engineering and fabrication projects.
- Prepare detailed estimate summaries and project budgets.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information.




- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, costs, variations and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate with workshop personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
- Maintain project documentation, quality records and reporting.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with customers throughout project delivery.
- Support continuous improvement of estimating and project management systems.
- Collate supplier invoices using company CRM.

Required skills/experience:

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, Estimating or Project Coordination.
- Mechanical Engineering degree, Diploma or relevant industry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches, including material take-offs.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and materials.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exposure to mining, power generation or industrial projects is desirable
- Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCad or Inventor is preferred.
- Knowledge of acoustics is beneficial but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Current Australian Driver's License.
- Australian Working Rights.
