About the Position The Project Manager, Reimagining supports the delivery of Arts Centre Melbourne’s major redevelopment project, coordinating stakeholders, resources, reporting and project activities across design and construction. The role manages project documentation, governance, risk, reviews and stakeholder communication while supporting tendering, site inspections, commissioning and handover. It requires strong organisation, technical understanding and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, high-profile environment.

Full Time Fixed Term May 2027. Band 4.1 $99,116.16 per annum + 12% superannuation

Your Skills and Experience

- Diploma in Project Management or relevant discipline
- Experience managing large-scale projects
- Construction, architecture or engineering experience
- Client-side project management experience
- Government project experience highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong project coordination and organisation
- Ability to analyse complex information
- Strong time management and prioritisation
- Knowledge of theatre, technical or building services
- Experience with project governance and reporting
- Risk management and process improvement skills
- Tender and contractor review experience
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Initiative, discretion and confidentiality
- Collaborative and adaptable approach
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Aconex
- Experience with SharePoint, Teams and Adobe
- Bluebeam and Revizto experience desirable
- Ability to attend site and project meetings
- Commitment to safety, inclusion and accountability

The team brings together project management, technical and development expertise, working collaboratively with internal teams, government agencies, project partners and precinct stakeholders to deliver a new and better future for Arts Centre Melbourne.
