About the Role
n
As a Utility Locator, you will be responsible for accurately locating and marking underground services before excavation works take place. You'll work across a variety of projects, ensuring safe excavation practices while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Locate and mark underground utilities, including power, gas, water, communications and sewer.
n
- Interpret DBYD plans and utility service plans.
n
- Use electromagnetic locating equipment and GPR where required.
n
- Complete accurate field reports and documentation.
n
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and asset owners.
n
- Follow Australian Standards and company procedures.
n
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
n
- Work safely while upholding ECLS's commitment to quality and customer service.

Essential Requirements
n
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence (HR Licence highly regarded).
n
- White Card.
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
n
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Previous experience as a Utility Locator.
n
- Experience with electromagnetic locating equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).
n
