Role: Test Analyst
n Day Rate: $800 - $900 + Super
n Contract Length: 6-months + high chance for extension
n Location: Eveleigh/WFH Flex

Are you an experienced Test Analyst looking to make an impact in a dynamic Agile environment? We're seeking a detail oriented professional with strong testing expertise to join our large NSW Government client on an initial 6-month contract.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Design, write, and execute test cases from user stories, requirements, and use cases.

n

Conduct manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.

n

Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and performance testing.

n

Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Bugzilla.

n

Collaborate closely with developers, senior testers, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.

n

Contribute to test planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups.

n

Maintain test documentation and provide feedback on usability, performance, and quality.

n

Explore and adopt tools for automation and API testing.

n

About You

n

5+ years' experience in software testing or related IT role.

n

Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.

n

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and test case design techniques.

n

Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (DevOps, JIRA, Bugzilla).

n

Ability to write basic SQL queries for validation and data testing.

n

Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman) highly regarded.

n
