We are seeking a motivated and skilled Specialist Surgeon to lead our surgical department at Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists (SVES), a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility offering comprehensive veterinary services including emergency care, surgery, medicine, and more.

SVES provides a collaborative environment with top-tier equipment such as Synthes and Orthomed plating, E-Pen Neuro Burr, Biomedtrix THR systems, and I-Loc Interlocking Nail System. Role Responsibilities

- Set the vision and strategic roadmap for the surgical department
n
- Manage surgical caseloads and oversee the surgical team
n
- Collaborate across departments to ensure optimal patient care
n
- Mentor and guide interns and team members
n
- Perform orthopaedic, soft tissue, neurologic, and emergency surgeries as needed
n
- Uphold the core values of VetPartners and foster a collaborative culture
n

Candidate Requirements

n

n




- Diplomate or equivalent status in Small Animal Surgery (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS)
n
- Eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Australian Veterinary Board Council
n
- Team-oriented with a passion for high-quality patient care
