As part of our North Operational Maintenance DIDO team, you'll travel from Balcatta to Central North depots in Western Power vehicles, working 150 hours over a four‐week roster. Based in Moora and Three Springs, you'll play a vital role maintaining the backbone of the Southwest Interconnected System (SWIS).

Your role in Action

- Responding to and rectifying faults promptly to minimise supply disruptions
n
- Working with locally based crews on planned and unplanned maintenance works.
n
- Completing construction and maintenance work to Western Power standards.
n
- Maintaining and developing core line skills in line with evolving industry requirements.
n
- Participating in pre‐job planning to ensure safety and reliability.
n
- Upholding excellent customer relations when interacting with the public.
n
n
What makes you a great fit
n
n
- People who are comfortable working away from home (please note assessments will form part of the recruitment and selection process)
n
- Certificate III in ESI – Power System Distribution Overhead (or equivalent).
n
- Proven experience in construction and maintenance of distribution electricity networks.
n
- HOU and LOU Switching experience (highly regarded but not essential).
n
- HC driver's licence (highly regarded but not essential)
n
- Crane licence (highly regarded but not essential)
n
