Experienced Restaurant Manager NEEDED
Johnny’s Taste is an in-house Chinese restaurant located inside the Brewarrina RSL Club at the corner of Sandon and Bourke Streets, Brewarrina, NSW. The restaurant provides lunch and dinner services and offers a range of Chinese and Asian cuisine.
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Develops and designs menus in collaboration with chefs.
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees special functions and events.
- Manages the procurement and pricing of goods in line with budget requirements.
- Maintains accurate records of stock, purchases, and financial transactions.
- Ensures that dining and food service areas meet health, safety, and presentation standards.
- Engages with customers to evaluate their satisfaction with food quality and service.
- Recruits, trains, and supervises front-of-house and kitchen staff.
- May handle reservations, welcome guests, and assist with order taking as needed.
- Oversees and manages the overall operations of the restaurant to ensure effective dining and catering services.
Experience
- Hold at least a relevant Diploma, or have at least three years of relevant experience which may substitute for the formal qualification.
- Have at least one year of full-time work experience (or equivalent).
- Previous experience and strong knowledge of the restaurant and hospitality industry are preferred.

- Ability to lead, supervise and motivate restaurant staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Reliable, responsible and able to work well under pressure.
Annual salary package: $72,000 per annum plus superannuation.
