Purpose of the Role

n

BGIS is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality facilities services across a diverse Melbourne portfolio within a highly engaged and team-oriented client environment.

n

Working as part of a small BGIS on-site team and closely embedded within the broader client workplace, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong contractor performance, and consistent service delivery across multiple sites.

n

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role requires someone who is calm under pressure, confident in decision-making, and skilled at managing competing priorities in fast-moving environments.

n

This is a highly client-facing role where relationship building, communication, and adaptability are essential.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage and maintain CMMS systems, ensuring accurate tracking of reactive and preventative maintenance
n




- Allocate and coordinate work orders to meet KPI and contract requirements
n
- Act as first point of contact for building systems (including BMS interface) and operational issues
n
- Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance, documentation, and access requirements
n
- Support contract compliance, reporting, invoicing review, and financial processes
n
- Conduct site inspections and monitor maintenance standards across plant and equipment
n
- Liaise closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
n
- Support on-call and after-hours coordination as required
n
- Ensure strict adherence to OH&S;, quality, and environmental standards
n
- Assist with reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
n

Education, Experience & Skills

n

n
- Experience in facilities management, building services, or property operations
n
- Solid knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance coordination
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Ability to manage contractors and multiple priorities across sites
n
- Strong problem-solving skills with a calm, practical approach under pressure
n
- Understanding of OH&S;, compliance, and operational risk management
n
- Australian Citizenship (required for NV1 clearance eligibility)
n
- Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a passion for helping customers achieve the best outcomes.
n
- Experience in high-security, complex, or regulated environments
n




- Trade background or facilities-related qualification
n
- Exposure to contract management and service delivery frameworks
n
- Experience working within integrated service environments
n
