About the role
n
We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer to join our Employment Law practice. The role involves providing legal advice and representation to clients across a range of industries, delivering sound legal strategies, drafting documents, and representing clients in various proceedings.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide legal advice and representation across industries.
n
- Conduct legal research and analysis to keep clients informed of rights and obligations.
n
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, pleadings and other legal documents.
n
- Represent clients in court, hearings and arbitration.
n
- Negotiate settlements and advise on client business operations.
n
- Keep up to date with legal developments and advise accordingly.
n
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
n
n

- Industrial Relations and ER matters
n
- Human Rights, Anti‐discrimination & Equal Opportunity
n
- Change Management, Terminations, Restraint of Trade disputes
n
- Workplace investigations and disputes, mediation,
and training
n
- Legislative interpretation and workplace health/safety investigations
n
- Contract development, enterprise bargaining and policy advice
n
- Risk management and compliance, crisis management, and sports sector employment
n

Qualifications
n
n
- Bachelor of Laws and current practising certificate.
n
- Minimum 4 years practice in Employment Law.
n
- Strong understanding of law and legal procedures.
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Robust problem‐solving and multitasking skills.
n
