Kenbury is partnering with a highly regarded independent corporate advisory firm seeking to appoint an Investment Banking Analyst to its Sydney team.

This opportunity would suit someone currently working within a leading global investment bank who enjoys the technical and strategic aspects of M&A; but is looking to move away from the structure and culture of a large institution.

The firm provides the transaction standards, senior exposure and quality of work associated with a top-tier investment bank, within a more collaborative and supportive boutique environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers throughout the full transaction lifecycle and gain meaningful exposure to clients and decision-makers.

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Supporting the execution of complex buy-side and sell-side M&A; transactions
n
- Developing detailed financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials
n
- Undertaking company,



industry and strategic analysis
n
- Preparing presentations, information memoranda and client materials
n
- Coordinating transaction processes and supporting due diligence
n
- Working directly with senior bankers and clients throughout live engagements
n

n

The ideal candidate will have:

n

n
- Approximately two to three years of investment banking experience
n
- Current experience within a bulge-bracket, global or leading investment bank
n
- Solid M&A; execution and financial modelling capability
n
- Excellent academic results and attention to detail
n
- Strong written, analytical and communication skills
n
- A genuine interest in continuing to build a long-term career in M&A;
n
- A collaborative approach and the ability to perform within a high-quality, team-oriented culture
