Role Description The PTE Coach will deliver high-quality online coaching sessions to learners preparing for the Pearson Test of English (PTE). This contract, remote role involves planning lessons, explaining test formats and scoring criteria, and guiding learners through speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks. The coach will review practice tests, provide detailed feedback, and share strategies to improve performance in each test section.

Daily tasks include updating learning materials, tracking learner progress, and adjusting teaching methods to meet individual needs. The PTE Coach will also respond to learner queries,



maintain qualified communication, and collaborate with the team to enhance coaching programs.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of PTE exam structure, scoring, and task types, with prior experience preparing learners for standardized English tests.
- Excellent English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience designing lesson plans, practice exercises, and test strategies tailored to different proficiency levels.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, motivate learners, and adapt coaching style to individual learning preferences.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital collaboration tools, and remote communication.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in managing a contract, remote schedule.
- Prior experience in language coaching, teaching, or tutoring is highly beneficial; PTE or other English test certification is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
