About the role

Eco Choice Heating and Cooling is seeking a Qualified Electrician/Solar & Battery Installer to join our team in Drysdale, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar systems, battery storage solutions, and general electrical work for both residential and commercial clients.

This role is integral to our mission of providing sustainable energy solutions to the local community and plays a key part in supporting our expansion in the renewable energy market.

Key responsibilities

- Install, commission, and maintain solar systems and battery storage solutions for residential and commercial properties

- Perform electrical installations and repairs in compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations

- Conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations for solar and battery system design

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and system performance issues

- Test and inspect electrical installations to ensure they meet safety standards and regulatory requirements

- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance work, and system performance data

- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

- Comply with all relevant workplace health and safety legislation and company policies

What we're looking for

- Current and valid electrical licence as a Qualified Electrician in Victoria

- Proven experience installing solar systems and battery storage solutions

- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, wiring, and safety protocols

- Understanding of relevant Australian electrical standards, including AS/NZS 3000 and solar-specific standards

- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing equipment





- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices

- Preferred: experience with commercial solar installations, experience with battery management systems, and knowledge of inverter technology
