The Role | More Than Running a Warehouse

n

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our Queensland branch while driving continuous improvement across the business.

n

This is a genuine leadership role where you'll spend time both on the warehouse floor and working on projects that improve the way we operate.

n

You'll work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Inventory Manager, Commercial Manager and Victorian leadership team to ensure our customers receive outstanding service while continually improving our operational performance.

n

Every day will be different.

n

Some days you'll be supporting the warehouse team.

n

Other days you'll be reviewing freight performance, implementing new procedures, leading improvement projects or working with suppliers to reduce costs and improve service.

n

What You'll Be Responsible For

n

n
- Leading the day-to-day operations of our Queensland warehouse.
n
- Supporting and developing our Warehouse and Inventory Managers, and leading our small but mighty Queensland operations team.
n
- Driving operational improvements across systems, freight and warehouse processes.
n
- Leading improvement projects from concept through to implementation.
n
- Building strong relationships with freight providers and operational suppliers.
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer outcomes.
n
- Supporting our quality systems and ISO 9001 journey.
n
- Working collaboratively across Operations, Sales, Finance and Leadership to ensure the business continues to grow.
n

Experience within wholesale distribution, industrial products, plumbing, irrigation, civil or manufacturing will be highly regarded.

Experience with ERP systems such as MYOB Acumatica and exposure to quality systems or ISO 9001 will also be advantageous.
