We are currently seeking enthusiastic, passionate and suitably qualified staff to join our team as:

Primary Classroom Teacher – Full time (commencing January 2026)

- FT Annual Salary Range from $80,751 – $119,786
n

n

Suitable candidates are required to hold:

- A current VIT registration (or equivalent)
n
- Relevant teaching qualifications
n
- Full working rights in Australia

Teaching staff at SCC are required to:

n

n
- Use diverse and effective teaching strategies to deliver the curriculum.
n
- Address diverse learner needs in curriculum design by collaborating with support staff.
n
- Integrate technology to enhance learning.
n
- Dedicate time to lesson planning and organization whilst ensuring the curriculum is relevant for your subjects and year levels per the state and national course requirements.
n
- Assess and provide meaningful feedback on student progress about their performance,



achievements, attitude or behaviour where required and at Parent Teacher Interviews.
n
- Write academic reports according to guidelines.
n
- Develop and assess learning materials and recommend implementation to subject coordinators.
n
- Support and engage in co-curricular programs as needed.
n
- Manage equipment, materials, and first aid needs according to OHS guidelines.
n
- Exercising duty of care through effective, professional supervision.
n
- Maintain accurate student attendance records.
n
- Maintain Professional Development.
n
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality.
n
- Attend scheduled subject and staff meetings.
n
- Maintain a manner of life that reflects an adherence to and support for the beliefs, teachings, values, and attitudes of Christianity and the Vision and Mission Statement of the College.
