Senior Accountant - Business Services & Advisory — Melbourne. Base pay range

A$95,000.00/yr - A$105,000.00/yr

The Role

n

As a Senior Accountant, you'll work across both compliance and advisory, with exposure to a variety of clients and industries. You'll be trusted to deliver high-quality work while building the commercial skills and client relationships that will set you up for long-term progression.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare financial statements in line with accounting and regulatory standards
n
- Prepare tax returns for companies, trusts and high-net-worth individuals
n
- Deliver management reporting, cash flow and forecasting services for clients
n
- Provide day-to-day business and tax advisory support
n




- Liaise directly with clients while working closely with Partners and Managers
n
- Mentor and support junior team members on compliance tasks
n

n

Qualifications

n

n
- 3-4 years' business services experience in an Australian accounting practice
n
- Strong technical foundation in accounting and tax compliance
n
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
n
- Relationship-building skills with both clients and team members
n
- Experience with Xero (preferred but not essential)
n
