About the Role
n
The role of an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant involves providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of family‐owned businesses, investment structures, high‐net‐wealth groups, and inbound international clients, including significant global entities. The position offers exposure to numerous clients across a broad range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards.
n
- Prepare transparent and concise work papers.
n
- Supervise junior staff on certain jobs, as appropriate.
n
- Review completed tax and FBT returns for compliance, and identify non‐compliance issues arising from them.
n
- Perform tax planning for clients.
n
- Prepare tax returns for all entities.
n
- Prepare Business Activity Statements.
n
- Manage quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.
n
- Assist with advice to clients across a range of taxation, business operations and regulatory matters.
n
- Liaise directly with clients and the ATO.
n
- Handle general business administration.
n

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
n
n
- Team player committed to supporting team members and joining in the vibrant culture.
n
- CA or CPA qualification or nearly completed (CA desirable).
n
- 3‐4 years of business services/tax experience (mid‐tier experience desirable).
n
- Client focused with strong commitment to quality service and client relationships.
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Ability to establish professional relations with internal and external clients.
n
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‐solving ability.
n
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage individual and team workflow.
n
- Self‐motivated, takes responsibility for personal and professional development.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to work.
n
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
n
- Experience with Xero desired.
