We have a current vacancy for a safety focused Qualified Plumber to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria.In this role, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like-minded tradespeople to deliver maintenance onsite.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

n
- Setting out and installing hot and cold‐water systems and associated equipment
n
- Undertake Storm water, Sewer Installations
n
- 'Rough-In' Water and Gas services
n
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
n
- Designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
n
- Assembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and small‐bore heating systems
n
- Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
n
- Installing below‐ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
n
- Installing gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices
n
- Fabricating and installing metal roofing,



rainwater goods and flashings
n
- Penetration and inground service installations
n
- Final 'Fit off' and finishing installations with high quality work
n
- Following standard operating procedures, safety procedures and quality control methods
n
- Ability to read and interpret plans/drawings
n

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

n

n
- You must be trade qualified/ 4th year apprentice
n
- Must have a sound knowledge of all tasks and activities related to new installations as well as a sound knowledge of the Plumbing Code and Australian standards
n
- Gas fitting Licence (preferred not essential)
n
- Strong experience in maintenance plumbing or similar role will be highly regarded
n
- Self‐motivated, problem solver & team player
n
- Be punctual and reliable, well organised, tidy and efficiency
n
- Have strong interpersonal & communication skills
n
- Basic computer literacy
n
- You must have the right to work in Australia (38 hours/week)
n
- You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
n
