Your Role
n
Join Vinnies as casual Shop Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive and engaging store experience for customers, people we assist, volunteers and team members alike. You'll support the day-to-day running of the store, help achieve financial and stock targets and ensure the shop floor looks great, while always keeping people and purpose front of mind.

Your Responsibility
n
n
- Deliver friendly, respectful and customer-focused service every day
n
- Assist with stock control, pricing, merchandising and rotation to keep the store fresh and appealing
n
- Support welfare clients professionally and confidentially, ensuring all vouchers and paperwork are handled correctly
n
- Help maintain stock levels, quality standards and seasonal displays
n
- Contribute to meeting store budgets and financial targets
n
- Encourage volunteers to engage with customers and provide great service
n
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
n
- Support a safe, compliant and welcoming workplace by following WHS, risk and Society policies
n

You Will Need

- Experience in retail or customer service, with a strong customer-first mindset
n
- Excellent communication,
organisation and time-management skills
n
- Confidence working with stock, displays and financial targets
n
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended trading hours
n
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support team and volunteer success
n
