Risk and Compliance Manager

An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced Risk and Compliance professional to join a respected, mid-sized Wealth Advisory and Professional Services firm with offices across Australia.

Working closely with the General Manager – Risk & Compliance, you will help shape the firm's approach to enterprise risk and regulatory compliance while gaining exposure across all facets of the business.

Based at the Melbourne Head Office, this role partners directly with senior leadership providing a unique platform to make a meaningful impact while developing your career.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the enterprise risk and compliance frameworks
n
- Working closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance promote the firm's risk appetite and culture across business functions
n
- Support business units in identifying, assessing, and managing key risks and regulatory obligations
n
- Advise on policy development, control design, and risk mitigation strategies
n
- Maintain effective training programs to ensure risk and compliance awareness firm-wide
n




- Prepare reports and insights for executive management and the Risk Committee
n

n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience in a risk and compliance role within the financial services sector
n
- Solid understanding of AFSL regulations
n
- Strong knowledge of investment or financial advice and skilled services environments would be excellent
n
- Skilled communicator with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and deliver practical, business-aligned solutions
n
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
n
