About the Role
n

Responsibilities
n
n
- Managing a portfolio of work,
using your technical skills and expertise to collaborate with specialists and drive a timely outcome and settlement.
n
- Active involvement in developing and implementing assessing processes that drive an outstanding CHU customer experience.
n
- Completion of onsite strata assessments, confirming extent, cause and nature of losses.
n
- Collation of information and evidence to make determinations (including indemnity and recovery).
n
- Formulation of scope of works as appropriate.
n
- Settlement and completion of files in accordance with internal protocols.
n
- Compilation of reporting and maintenance of records.
n
- Policy interpretation and provision of recommendations.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge.
n
- Minimum of 3 years of property claims handling experience / 3 years Loss Adjusting.
n
n
Required Skills
n
n
- Experience with commercial and catastrophe claims.
n
- Research and investigative abilities; negotiating, conflict resolution and persuasive abilities.
n
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, including large-group presentation skills.
n
- A full driver's licence and ability to be mobile with travel.
n
n
Preferred Skills
n
n
- AICLA Diploma in Loss Adjusting or qualifications attained through ANZIIF.
n
- Thorough knowledge of commercial and residential construction industries.
n
- Knowledge of property claims law and jurisdictional issues.
n
n
