Campus Student Support Assistant – Albury Campus

Part‐time (0.6 FTE) fixed‐term contract commencing in Term 1, 2027.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Collaborate with the Learning Support Teacher, working under direction and reinforcing strategies developed by the teacher.
n
- Provide student‐centred support, showing commitment to dignity, respect and unconditional positive regard.
n
- Adapt support across academic, social and self‐care contexts, maintaining flexibility.
n
- Participate in professional learning, including training in key programs such as Zones of Regulation and structured literacy.
n
- Assist with release planning, managing administrative tasks so the teacher can use planning/release time effectively.
n
- Deliver personal care and dignity to the female student, following care plans, preserving confidentiality and upholding dignity at all times.
n
- Support communication using AAC, visuals and strategies for expressive and receptive language.
n

About You / Qualifications

n

n
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support, or equivalent.
n




- Relevant experience working one‐to‐one with a student having communication and learning needs.
n
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
n
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, dignity and privacy.
n
- Ability to provide respectful, individualized support.
n
