Verra started in 2025 as a specialist recruitment business working across construction, infrastructure and specialist trades — sectors we know well and genuinely care about.

We are currently a team of 5 and looking for someone to join our high performing team — either as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant if you are new to the industry, or as a Recruitment Consultant if you already have some experience under your belt.

We will be upfront about what this is and what it is not. It is not a high-volume environment where you are measured on daily call counts or pressured to fill roles just to hit a number. We focus on doing good work with good people, building relationships that last, and growing a business that we are proud of. If that sounds like the kind of place you want to be, keep reading.

What the role actually looks like

You will work directly alongside the rest of the team — consultants who are active in the market every day.

If you are new to recruitment, we will teach you from the ground up: how to find and assess candidates, how to run a process, how to build client relationships, and how to develop your own desk over time.

If you already have experience, you will be given genuine autonomy from the start. You will own your roles, manage your own relationships, and build your desk with the full support of the team behind you.

Either way, we provide the tools, the pipeline, and the market knowledge — you bring the effort and the drive to build something.

Day to day, you will be:

- Sourcing and speaking with candidates across construction, infrastructure and trades




- Building and maintaining relationships with both candidates and clients
- Running recruitment processes end to end, or learning how to as you develop
- Developing specialist knowledge in your sector
- Getting exposure to client engagement and business development over time

What we are looking for

We are open on experience — anywhere from zero to five years, whether that is in recruitment, sales, customer service, construction, or something else entirely. What matters more is how you work.
