About the Role

Are you a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting users across a dynamic global business? We are looking for a Regional IT Support Engineer to join our Melbourne team at Hallam and provide technical support to users across the ANZ region.

Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day IT needs of end users across the region. You will provide onsite and remote technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, collaborate with global IT teams, and help maintain a secure and reliable technology environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT support professional who enjoys working across diverse technologies, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide onsite and remote support for end-user devices and applications across the APAC region.
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets in line with global IT standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Assist with identity and access management processes and collaboration platforms
- Support cloud, infrastructure, backup, patching,



and system update activities.
- Work closely with vendors, regional teams, and global IT colleagues to deliver effective solutions.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
- Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualification and experience
- Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role.
- Experience working with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft technologies, endpoint devices, Azure, and Active Directory environments.
- Experience supporting remote desktop and virtual environments.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
