Introduction

ConsultANZ is seeking a Regional Manager in Southern NSW and another Regional Manager in Northern NSW for a leading civil contractor in the pavement/roading industry.

This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for overseeing across pavement, sealing and asphalt operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall Southern NSW regional operation, with annual turnover of $80M–$100M+.
- Set and execute the regional strategy, with a solid focus on growth, profitability and market development.
- Oversee multiple branches across asphalt and spray sealing, ensuring consistent operational and financial performance.
- Building a strong leadership pipeline across the region.
- Maintaining relationships with key clients to support the region’s continued growth.
- Ensure resources, people and plant are effectively planned and utilised across the branch network.
- Review business performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and margins.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on regional planning, forecasting and long-term business development.

Desired Experience & Qualification





- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Senior leadership experience within civil construction, road infrastructure or a similar environment.
- Strong commercial and operational understanding, ideally with experience managing P&L; and regional budgets.
- Background in pavements, asphalt and/or spray sealing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple branches, teams and operational functions.
- A strong track record in business development and securing new work.
- Confident leader who can motivate, develop and hold senior teams accountable.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication and relationship management skills.
