About This Role
Your new role
As a Registered Nurse In Canaipa Ward, You Will Provide High-quality Clinical Care To a Diverse Range Of Acute And Sub-acute Patients, Working Collaboratively With Nursing, Allied Health And Medical Teams To Achieve Positive Patient Outcomes. You Will
- Deliver safe, compassionate and comprehensive person-centred nursing care, from assessment and planning through to implementation and evaluation.
- Use critical thinking, clinical judgement and effective time management to prioritise care, respond to changing clinical needs and coordinate referrals.
- Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, clinical education and initiatives that enhance patient safety and service delivery.
- Work collaboratively across the multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to provide clinical leadership and coordinate care as delegated.
About You We are looking for Registered Nurses who combines strong clinical capability with a genuine commitment to person-centred care, teamwork and continuous professional development.
- You are a registered nurse with sound clinical knowledge, competence and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care.
- You demonstrate strong assessment, planning, decision-making and evaluation skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a clinical environment.
- You value collaboration, communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy,
integrity and respect when working with patients, carers and colleagues.
- You are committed to lifelong learning, evidence-based practice and developing your clinical skills, particularly in cardiac, stroke and acute medical nursing.

Redland Hospital Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery,
maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care. It's an exciting time as our Redlands Coast community grows bringing a diverse range of patients & an opportunity to make a real difference in the community.
