About the role

Mater Private Hospital Mackay has multiple exciting opportunities available for an experienced Registered Nurse to work within our Perioperative Clinic on a permanent full-time basis.

Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurse, who will be motivated by a challenging and fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

- Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
- Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
- Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
- Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued skilled growth

About you To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following criteria:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (without restrictions)
- Minimum of one-year post-graduate perioperative or Scrub-Scout experience.
- Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients at all times
