THE ROLE:

n

As our Night Manager, you'll own the overnight shift at Zagame's House – running the front desk, completing the nightly audit, balancing revenue and expense transactions, and safeguarding the accuracy of all our financial information. You'll also be the calm, welcoming presence on-site through the small hours, looking after our guests and team until sunrise.

The successful applicant will:

- Lead the vision and values of Zagame's House guest experiences
n
- Work closely with the Rooms Division Manager, Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B; teams to deliver and maintain exceptional service standards and guest experiences
n
- Actively contribute to hotel targets and objectives
n
- Be proactive in controlling costs – always aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability, whilst maintaining our standards
n
- Be able to roll sleeves up and get the job done – no matter what it takes
n
- Be a juggler – you will have many balls in the air at a time
n
- Have an appreciation of the unique, the different, and the 'out of the box' (We don't believe there is a box)!
n




- Question the 'norm' naturally and always look for ways to improve and do things differently

- Have great attention to detail

As our venue operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, applicants must have fully flexible open availability across all 7 days of the week, including weekends, nights and public holidays

EXPERIENCE:

n

n
- Minimum 3+ years' operational experience in a front office department (essential)
n
- Experience in Hotel Management software (we use MEWS PMS) and Point of Sale software (Bepoz)
n
- Reservations experience is a bonus
n

n

EDUCATION:

n

n
- Somewhat tech-savvy – basic computer knowledge and experience with MS office, Point of Sales, Inventory and store programs
n
- Previous experience with Mews PMS is a bonus
n
- Attainment of the necessary Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
n

n
