The Role

Fire Rescue Victoria has an excellent Fixed Term opportunity as a Strategic Contract Manager - Apparel. It will be a complex and multifaceted role as you manage the various contracts FRV has in place to deliver garments andequipment to operational Fire Fighters and FRV Staff; (including for PPC & other Firefighter apparel, Corporate Wear & Industrial Workwear.)

Functional Accountabilities

Ensure the Contractors perform as per contracts

Manage the various stakeholders of each Contracts, internal & external

Monitor Contract spend and generate spending forecasts

Manage the Contract conditions and price management

Remediate and stabilise the apparel contracts at FRV

Manage the creation and implementation of variations to FRV apparel contracts as required

The Team

The Corporate Services Directorate provides advice, planning and support in the areas of Finance, Information Technology, Fleet, Property and Records Management. In addition, the directorate also provides oversight of the FRV commercial arm, Fire and Equipment Services (FES). The directorate is a key enabler for the operational and corporate units of the business to deliver on organisational objectives.

What you will need to Succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:

Experience in/with State Fire Service

Knowledge of SAP
