About the Role
n
Macmahon Underground is growing and expanding its footprint across Australia's East Coast, creating exciting opportunities for experienced Jumbo Operators to join our team.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
- Operate Sandvik jumbo drill rig in a safe and efficient manner
n
- Read and understand development designs and operational memos to guide work activities
n
- Carry out underground development activities,
including boring and installation of ground support
n
- Install various types of ground support, including split sets, resin bolts and mesh
n
- Contribute to all stages of the mining cycle, maintaining productivity and minimising downtime
n
- Provide clear and effective communication
n
- Contribute to our people‐first culture and live our Winning Values
n
- Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
n
n
What You'll Bring

- Minimum 2 years' experience operating the jumbo drill rigs
n
- Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
n
- A team mindset and reliable work ethic
n
- Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
n
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (highly desired)
n
- First Aid Certificate (highly desired)
