Early Childhood Educator | Pre-Prep Program | Part Time

Join a community-focused sessional kindergarten as an Educator supporting a Pre-Prep program with a strong focus on school readiness and learning.

We're recruiting on behalf of a well‐established community-focused sessional kindergarten in Camberwell seeking a passionate Educator to join their specialised Pre-Prep Program.

n

Working alongside an experienced Early Childhood Teacher, you'll support children in their transition to school through a play‐based program with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and school readiness. With a maximum of 22 children in the room, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide individualised support in a calm, welcoming environment.

- Support the delivery of a high-quality Pre-Prep program within a sessional kindergarten.
n
- Assist with engaging literacy and numeracy experiences.
n
- Observe and support children's learning and development.
n
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
n
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
n

About You

n

n




- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care / Cert 3 (or ACECQA‐approved equivalent).
n
- Experience in a kindergarten or sessional kindergarten setting.
n
- Knowledge of the VEYLDF and school readiness.
n
- A nurturing, positive and collaborative approach.
n
- A passion for supporting children as they prepare for school.
n
- Fixed‐term: Terms 3 & 4, 2026
n
- Potential to become an ongoing role
n
- 2–4 days per week (3 days preferred)
n
- Monday to Thursday
n
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
n
- Salary in accordance with VECTEA
n
