The Chance
Join Acenda's Customer Regulatory & Tax Reporting team and take ownership of critical regulatory reporting obligations across life insurance and superannuation products. This is a hands-on specialist role where you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of key returns, including ATO SuperStream reporting (MAAS and MATS), unclaimed money reporting, FATCA and CRS submissions, insurance duty reporting and other regulatory lodgements. Working with large and complex datasets, you'll ensure reporting is accurate, compliant and delivered within strict deadlines while helping to strengthen controls, improve processes and support ongoing regulatory change.
Partnering with stakeholders across the business, you'll source, analyse, reconcile and validate data, investigate reporting issues, implement enhancements and provide confidence that Acenda continues to meet its regulatory obligations. This role will suit a strong analytical professional who enjoys working at the intersection of data, compliance and business operations.
Advanced
Excel and SQL skills,

How will you make an impact?
- Own the end-to-end delivery of key regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered within required timeframes.
- Source, analyse, reconcile and validate complex data from multiple systems to support critical reporting to government and regulatory bodies.
- Identify, investigate and resolve data quality and reporting issues prior to submission, ensuring reporting integrity and accuracy.
- Design, implement and monitor reporting controls that strengthen governance, mitigate risk and support regulatory compliance.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to coordinate reporting activities, provide reporting status updates and drive successful outcomes.
- Support the implementation of regulatory and legislative changes by embedding new requirements into reporting processes and frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, data quality and operational effectiveness.
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
- Experience delivering regulatory, compliance,
or operational reporting within a financial services, superannuation or insurance environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end reporting cycles and deliver accurate outcomes within strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret, reconcile and validate complex datasets.
- Advanced Excel and SQL capabilities, with experience extracting, transforming and analysing data from multiple sources.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing enhancements to reporting, controls or data quality.
- A high level of attention to detail, personal accountability and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
