About the role:
- Administer effective remedial massage treatments designed to alleviate muscle tension, reduce pain, and promote relaxation.
- Utilize a range of specialized techniques to address specific issues, enhance mobility, and contribute to overall health improvement.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide expert advice on post-treatment care, stretching routines, and lifestyle adjustments to optimize treatment benefits.
- Collaborate with clients to track progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure a holistic approach to wellness.
Requirements:
- A diploma in remedial massage
- At least one years of experience as a remedial massage therapist
- Physical fitness stamina and excellent manual skills
- Ability to perform 5 to 6 deep tissue massages consecutively
- Team spirit and capacity to work autonomously
- Strong customer interaction skills with ability to build client base
- Passion for health and wellbeing
- Professional presentation
- A current first aid certificate
- National police check certificate
- Association membership provider number for health funds and professional indemnity insurance
- Available to work especially on Wednesday and/or Thursday
