Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering enterprise networking, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions across a diverse customer base. Supporting organisations within Healthcare, Education, Government, Professional Services, Construction and other enterprise sectors, they deliver both managed services and large-scale digital transformation projects that help customers modernise and secure their IT environments.

This is an exciting prospect for a Fortinet specialist to play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network security environments across multiple customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, deploy and support FortiGate Firewall environments, including High Availability (HA) clusters.
n
- Configure and maintain FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralised policy management and monitoring.
n
- Implement and support FortiSwitch and FortiAP deployments across enterprise environments.
n
- Design and deliver secure SD-WAN, IPSec VPN and site-to-site connectivity solutions.
n
- Configure routing, switching, VLANs and network segmentation following industry best practices.
n
- Perform firewall policy reviews, security hardening and network optimisation.
n
- Provide Level 3 technical support and act as the escalation point for complex networking issues.
n
- Assist with customer onboarding, infrastructure migrations and digital transformation projects.
n
- Produce technical documentation, network diagrams, implementation guides and operational runbooks.
n
- Follow formal change management processes and ensure production changes are reviewed and documented.
n




- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and technology vendors to deliver successful customer outcomes.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Strong hands-on experience with:
n
- FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP
n
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching and TCP/IP networking.
n
- Experience deploying High Availability (HA) firewall solutions.
n
- Experience implementing SD-WAN and IPSec VPN technologies.
n
- Strong understanding of VLANs, network segmentation and enterprise security best practices.
n
- Experience troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues.
n
- Experience working within a Managed Services environment.
n
- Fortinet NSE4 certification (minimum).
n
- NSE5, NSE6 or NSE7 certifications.
n
- Experience with Microsoft Azure networking, VPN Gateway or ExpressRoute.
n
- Exposure to Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba or Ruckus networking technologies.
n
- Knowledge of Zero Trust networking principles and security frameworks.
n
- CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.
n
