n Our client is an established FMCG manufacturing business with a strong operational footprint and ongoing investment across its site and production capability. As part of continued growth and future planning, they have created a new Senior Project Engineer role to support major capital works, process upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The role will work closely with site leadership.

The Role

n

The Role
n The Senior Project Engineer will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of capital and process engineering projects across the site, operating in a highly hands-on capacity. The role will be responsible for delivering projects from concept through to execution in a live manufacturing setting, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant outcomes.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Managing the development of new land and construction of a new warehouse, including engagement with surveyors, council, builders, and design-and-construct partners
n
- Leading the overhaul and optimisation of various production lines, including layout, pumps, piping, and process improvement




n
- Delivering continuous improvement initiatives across safety, efficiency, reliability, and performance
n
- Collaborating closely with Maintenance, Production, and Quality
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Background asa Project Engineer or similar role within food, FMCG, or manufacturing
n
- Exposure to capital projects, process engineering, and brownfield upgrades
n
- Understanding of project management methodologies, including planning and scheduling tools such as Gantt charts
n
- Hands-on, practical approach with the ability to work effectively in a live production environment
n
- Robust communication skills and a people-centric mindset; experience in a small to medium-sized or privately owned business will be highly regarded
n
