Job Description
$84k – $90k + Super (FTE) pro-rata for 4 days
n
12-month parental leave cover | Part-time 4 days per week
n
This role will commence 7September 2026 and end in September 2027
n
About us
n
We're the national body supporting people living with, or at risk of, diabetes; over 1.5 million Australians. Our work sits at the intersection of health, policy, advocacy, and lived experience. Which means the content we create isn't just "nice to have"; it genuinely helps people make sense of their health, access support, and make informed decisions.
n
About the role
n
This is a hands‐on content marketing role in our Marketing & Communications team. You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering content‐led campaigns across digital channels — from early planning through to execution and performance review. You'll work closely with internal teams and subject matter experts to translate complex information into content that's clear, engaging, and on brand. There's a nice balance here between creativity and structure. You'll write, build and schedule content, but also step back and think about what's working and how we improve.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
- Write and develop content across social, email, web and campaigns
n
- Plan and manage content calendars aligned to campaign priorities
n
- Coordinate with designers, stakeholders and external partners
n
- Support campaign rollouts and integrated marketing activity
n
- Track performance and use insights to refine future content
n
n
You're already working in marketing (a few years in) and you're ready to step into a role where you have real ownership.
n
You might be the person in your team who
n
n
- Naturally edits things to make them clearer and more human
n
- Thinks about audience first, not just output
n
- Enjoys balancing detail with deadlines
n
- Is comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once
n
- Wants to build deeper capability in content strategy, not just execution
n
n
Experience in health, government or the not-for-profit space is helpful but not essential.
n
Why this role is worth your time
n
n
- Purpose-driven work: your content supports real people, not just brand metrics
n
- Flexibility: 4‐day work week, with a focus on sustainable pace
n
- Strong team workplace: collaborative and supportive
n
- Variety: campaigns, digital, storytelling, stakeholder work... no two weeks look the same
n
- Growth: exposure to advocacy, policy and behaviour change work, not just marketing outputs
