Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded TMT lawyer to join a leading telecommunications and digital infrastructure organisation. This role offers exposure to large-scale network projects, strategic technology initiatives and sector-shaping regulatory developments within a highly regulated environment.

Working closely with the business, you will deliver clear, practical advice across telecommunications regulation, technology contracting and complex commercial arrangements, supporting the delivery of innovative services at scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide legal support across telecommunications regulatory matters and strategic commercial projects
n
- Draft and negotiate complex network and digital infrastructure, technology and customer-facing commercial agreements
n
- Support major network, connectivity and service initiatives from a legal perspective
n
- Advise on sector-specific regulatory obligations and industry frameworks
n
- Assist with dispute resolution and other sensitive business-critical matters where required
n
- Work closely with stakeholders across commercial, infrastructure and operations teams
n
n
About You
n
n
- Admission to practice as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand.
n
- 3–5 years PQE from a top-tier or strong mid-tier firm, with experience in TMT and exposure to telecommunications or regulated infrastructure matters
n
- Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting telecommunications, technology or digital infrastructure
n
- Excellent commercial acumen and ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
n
- Transparent, pragmatic communicator with the ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders
n
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
n
