Job Description
This permanent full‐time teaching position at Newman Senior High School commences as soon as possible.

Location and Community

Newman is a mining and tourism town in the Pilbara with access to the Karijini National Park, Mount Whaleback Mine, and a range of outdoor activities. It is a close‐knit community 1,184 kilometres north of Perth.

Role
n
As a secondary Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) teacher, you will:

- Deliver a differentiated curriculum that meets the Western Australian Curriculum requirements.

Eligibility
n
n
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
n
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident,
or have a valid visa with the relevant work rights.

- Obtain a WA Working with Children Check before commencement.

- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number.
