About the role The Terrace Rooftop Bar is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join the team, with two exciting opportunities available.

We are recruiting for

- a Casual Restaurant Host, and
- a Casual Food and Beverage Attendant (section waiter).

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing the highest level of service in all guest interactions, in line with hotel service standards

- Entering orders accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system

- Delivering meals promptly to guests and ensuring orders are correct when collected from the kitchen or bar

- Maintaining clean and tidy tables, service areas, and floors in accordance with procedures

- Taking guest orders while maximising sales opportunities through strong product knowledge

- Ensuring hygienic food and beverage service practices are followed at all times





- Taking ownership of your assigned section and station during service

- Maintaining current RSA certification and adhering to responsible service principles

- Performing opening and closing duties, as required

- Welcoming and serving all guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner

- Working with the Venue Manager and Assistant Venue Manager to ensure a smooth guest experience

- Curating a warm and memorable welcome for every guest entering the Terrace

- Organising reservations, guest flow, waitlists, and table assignments to maximise the dining experience

About you:

- A passion for food and beverage and the desire to work in a five-star hotel environment;

- A willingness to go above and beyond to deliver Exquisite Experiences for our guests, every time, every shift!

- Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail;

- The ability to work a 7-day roster, including nights

- Strong communication skills and highly developed organisational skills;

- The ability to think on your feet and a solution focused approach to problem solving;

- Ready to learn, grow, and thrive in a rapid-paced environment;

- Current RSA and eligibility to work in Australia.
