RETAIL ASSISTANT - Yoome (Westfield Knox)

About Us

Yoome Gift is Melbourne's home for Jellycat, Rolife, Blind Boxes, Miffy, and all things cute. We're a boutique gift shop located in Westfield Knox (and Fountain Gate), specialising in high-quality plush toys, collectible figures, DIY miniature kits, and unique gifts. If you've ever fallen down the Jellycat rabbit hole or felt the thrill of opening a blind box, you already get what we're about.

The Role

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our small team at our Westfield Knox store. This is a part-time position with flexible hours including weekends.

What You'll Do

- Provide exceptional customer service and help customers find the perfect gift
- Process sales and handle the register
- Restock shelves, maintain visual displays, and keep the store looking beautiful
- Assist with current stock arrivals and inventory management
- Share product knowledge with customers (yes, knowing your Jellycat Bashful Bunny from your Amuseable Croissant is part of the job)
- Help with Click & Collect orders

What We're Looking For:
- Genuinely friendly and approachable personality
- Available for weekday shifts
- Reliable and punctual
- A love for cute things, collectibles, plush toys, or gift-giving in general
- No prior retail experience needed - we'll train you!

Bonus Points (not required, but we'd love it):
- You're comfortable working with other employees,



creating short-form video content (TikTok/Instagram Reels) featuring our products and store
- You have an eye for aesthetics and visual merchandising
- You're already a fan of Jellycat, Rolife, Blind Boxes, or similar brands
- You have your own social media presence in the lifestyle, kawaii, or collectibles space

- Hours: 10-20 hours per week (flexible)
- Pay: $20-$32/hr depending on age and experience (in line with the General Retail Industry Award)
- Start: ASAP
