About Us

Cringila Healthcare Centre Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Pharmacist to join our business on a permanent full-time basis.

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Pharmacist who is committed to the safe and effective use of medicines and the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services to the local community.

About the Role

As a Retail Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medicines, providing professional advice regarding medicines and their appropriate use, maintaining required pharmacy records, and supplying prescription and non-prescription medicines in accordance with applicable skilled and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and review prescriptions and check patients' medication histories before dispensing.
- Assess appropriate dosage, methods of administration and medicine compatibility.
- Prepare or oversee the preparation, dispensing and accurate labelling of prescription medicines.
- Provide professional advice to patients regarding medicine use, interactions, incompatibilities and contraindications.
- Maintain accurate prescription records and required records relating to controlled and regulated medicines.
- Ensure vaccines and other medicines requiring specific storage conditions are stored and preserved appropriately.
- Supply non-prescription medicines and therapeutic and diagnostic products and provide appropriate advice regarding their use.
- Educate customers on the safe and appropriate use of medicines, health promotion and disease prevention.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy,



patient confidentiality, professional practice and customer care.
- Ensure pharmacy services are provided in accordance with relevant professional, legislative and regulatory requirements.

Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent recognised pharmacy qualification.
- Current General Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia through Ahpra.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Pharmacist.
- Sound knowledge of prescription dispensing, medicines and pharmacy practice requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe and accurate dispensing.
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
