We're seeking Registered Nurses to join the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Casual Pool.

As part of the NSLHD Casual Pool, you'll have the flexibility to nominate your preferred facility, with opportunities available at:

- Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) – St Leonards
n
- Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital (HKH) – Hornsby
n
- Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice (AYAH) - Manly
n
- Northern Beaches Hospital - French Forest
n
- Primary and Community Health- Brookvale, Hornsby, Macquarie and St Leonards
n
n
Each site offers a supportive team environment and a variety of clinical areas to match your experience and interests.

About the Role
n
As a casual Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team. Casual pool opportunities are available in:
n
n
- Emergency Department (ED)
n
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Neonatal ICU
n
- Special Care Nursery
n
- Dialysis
n
- General Ward Nursing (Medical/Surgical, Paediatrics, Specialty Wards e.g., Burns Unit)
n
- Primary and Community Health
n
n
Each site offers a supportive team environment and a variety of clinical areas to match your experience and interests.

About the Role
n
As a casual Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team. Casual pool opportunities are available in:

This is a flexible prospect to broaden your experience while contributing to high-quality patient care.

Please note: NSLHD casual pool staff are expected to work a minimum of one shift a week to maintain their position in the pool.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
n
n
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
n
- Extensive post registration clinical experience within the acute care setting within chosen specialty.
n
- Demonstrated effective communication skills with patients, carers, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
n
- Demonstrated commitment in providing person-centred and culturally responsive care.
n
- Basic computer literacy and demonstrated ability to use electronic health information systems.
n
n
