The Role

Based at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH), you will deliver a high standard of food service to hospital patients, staff and patrons in accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, production, service, plating, meal distribution, ware‐washing and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with relevant codes of practice.
n
- Actively participate in and contribute to the organisation's Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives, safeguarding practices for vulnerable people and related training.
n
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, floors and walls directed by supervisors and in accordance with relevant guidelines.

Shift Details

n

Permanent part‐time shift worker (fully rotational), 28 hours per fortnight. Hours are adaptable and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

n

Salary & Benefits

n

Salary: $57,130 – $62,486 per annum (pro‐rate) plus a 12% superannuation contribution.

n
