A new and exciting opportunity exists to be part of a agile team at this venue located on Victoria's beautiful Mornington Peninsula

We are seeking a qualified Demi Chef to work directly with our Head Chef in managing the day to day operations of the kitchen. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform in a fast paced kitchen. In return you will be provided with a work place where you will continue to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of a supportive management team.

Salary $62K + Super

Duties

n

- Menu planning
n
- Estimating food and labour costs
n
- Liaising with suppliers
n
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
n
- Ensuring hygiene regulations are met
n
- Freezing and preserving foods
n

n





Qualifications

n

n
- Completion of a relevant Commercial Cookery qualification including Cert IV and a Diploma of Hospitality are a minimum requirement.
n
- Minimum of 3 years experience is also a requirement for this role.
n
