Due to continued company growth, we are seeking an experienced Aluminium MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our busy manufacturing facility in Carrum Downs, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding specifications, and fabrication plans
- Manufacture and assemble aluminium fabrication projects to high-quality standards
- Perform high-quality MIG welding on aluminium components and structures
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, grind, finish, and prepare fabricated parts with precision and attention to detail
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications
- Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and production staff to deliver projects on time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Assist with custom fabrication projects including platforms, ladders, access systems, walkways, stairs, and industrial safety equipment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and quality control processes
About You
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or similar qualification)
- Minimum 1 year experience in aluminium MIG welding and fabrication
- Strong aluminium MIG welding experience is essential
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Experience assembling and welding components to high quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude
- Ability to meet production deadlines and supervisor targets
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance
