We're on the lookout for a Junior to Mid-Level Software Developer to join the journey.

What's the role?

n

As a Software Developer, you'll work within a fast-paced, product-led team to build, improve, and evolve real-world applications used by industry leaders.

n

You'll contribute across a complex ecosystem - shipping new features, refining their apps UI/UX, and optimising systems for scale. With ~60% of your work focused on frontend development, your ability to combine technical strength with design intuition will shine here.

This isn't an entry-level role, and it's not a narrow one either. Working closely with other Developer in your squad you'll be able to ramp up your knowledge of your product from well-documented code to hit the ground running, solve problems across layers, and contribute to meaningful products from the get-go.

You'll be working in a hybrid pod-based structure which typically rotates between feature pods to build new functionality, product pods driving roadmap delivery and maintenance pods which address bugs and tech debt to provide a well-rounded view of not just the code base, but the business problems you're solving.

What and how they deliver

n

You'll join a tight-knit pod of 3-4 developers,



working closely with a Lead Developer and an experienced Engineering Manager to plan and prioritise meaningful work.

n

From day one, you'll partner with 'tech' and 'non-tech' buddies to get broader business and product understanding, ramping up from simple tickets to build your confidence in being hands-on across their vast ecosystem of 40-70 interconnected modules. Their onboarding is seamless in getting you up to speed in delivering end-to-end features that span from GraphQL APIs to polished React frontends.

Whether building greenfield projects or enhancing legacy systems, you'll have strong mentorship in place to write clean, maintainable code and contribute to the continuous evolution of flagship products.

With a dedicated DevOps-managed namespace and support from a shared QA team, you'll collaborate deeply - sharing ideas, reviewing code, documenting effectively, and mentoring peers as you help shape scalable, high-impact software.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 2 to 4 years of software development experience
n
- Solid backend fundamentals with robust frontend skills
n
- Experience with React, GraphQL, and TypeScript
n
- A creative eye for detail and design polish on the frontend
n
- Comfortable navigating a large, interconnected codebase
n
- Confident working within constraints and complex frameworks
n
- Able to take initiative and solve problems independently
n
- Hybrid flexibility, with office-based collaboration days Mondays and Wednesdays (Fortitude Valley HQ)
n
